Population known as Korah or Kórach (קֹרַח "Baldness; ice; hail; frost", Standard Hebrew Qóraḥ, Tiberian Hebrew Qōraḥ) in the Bible:

One of Esau's sons. A grandson of Esau, mentioned around Genesis. It doesn't come out more stores than Genesis 36:16. a bit of think this is actually a scribal error, & omits the title. A human in the genealogy of Tribe of Judah. A levite,son of Izhar & hence a first cousin of Moses and Aaron. He is remembered for the rebellious action together by owning Dathan & Abiram against Moses. This story too appears in the Qur'an, where Korah is named Qarun (see Similarities between the Bible and the Qur'an). Mentioned in the 1768 edition of the Just released England Primer. On this text, when section of an alphabet, you page through that "Proud Korah's troop was swallowed up."
